On 4 January 2023, Karnataka Chief Minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai laid the foundation stone for the 400-bedded mother-child care hospital in Ballari. The hospital will serve as the cure for all concerns of women and children in the entire district. Meanwhile, the state government has set aside special grants for improving nutrition in kids.
