The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the four-laning of 26-km stretch of Karnataka’s Bengaluru-Mangaluru national highway (NH)-75. The project will be executed on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, informed Union road transport & highways minister Nitin Gadkari. According to the request for proposals (RFP), the project entails widening and improving the existing two-lane concrete road into four lanes from Maranahalli in Hassan district to Addahole in Dakshina Kannada district. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 19.7 billion.
