Petronet to invest Rs.170 bn in Dahej terminal

Port to host third jetty

Petronet plans to invest Rs.6 billion in expanding capacity of its Dahej LNG import terminal from 17.5 mtpa to 22.5 mtpa. It plans to spend Rs.12.45 billion in building an additional storage tank and bays for truck loading of LNG. The Dahej import terminal is the largest in the world. The port will host a third jetty where propane, ethane and LNG can be imported, according to CEO A K Singh.
