JMRC finalises DPR for development of phase-II of Rajasthan’s Jaipur Metro

Corridor to be established at cost of Rs.45.4 billion and cover 23.5-km

The Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) has finalised a detailed project report (DPR) for the development of phase-II of the Rajasthan’s Jaipur Metro, which will come up between India Gate and Ambabari. The corridor will be established at a cost of Rs.45.4 billion and cover 23.5-km, having 21 elevated stations. The JMRC has decided not to construct any underground tunnel as that would increase the project cost.
