Madhya Pradesh CM inaugurates 6 projects in Bhopal

Projects include solar power plant at Upper Lake, Maholi Damkheda Sewage Treatment Plant, smart city project

On 1 February 2021, the Madhya Pradesh chief minister (CM) Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated as many as six projects in Bhopal. These include the Bhopal smart city development project, named ‘Atal Path’, under which the state government plans to construct around 52,000 houses for the urban poor, as per a media report. The CM also launched the solar power plant at Upper Lake, Maholi Damkheda Sewage Treatment Plant and Garbage transfer station. Besides this, he laid the foundation stone for a water wall & fountain at Cable Stay Bridge, Karond Railway over bridge and flyover at Maida Mill.
